How Users & Roles Work

In Studiio, it's important to understand the difference between Listeners and Users.

Listeners are your audience – they are people who contact your station. On the other hand, Users are your team members who log into the dashboard. These two groups are completely separate. A listener is never a user, and vice versa.

User Roles

There are two main roles for users in Studiio: Manager and User. Managers have full access to everything without any restrictions. Non-manager Users can only see and do what their assigned Permissions allow them to.

How Users & Roles Work

Individual Logins

Each person on your team should have their own login with their personal email address. Accounts should never be shared, as activities such as replies, notes, and deletions are attributed to the logged-in user.

Managing Your Team

To manage your team, go to Settings > Users. Here, you can see everyone who has access to your station. You can add new people or remove someone whose access should be revoked.

How Users & Roles Work

Roles Are Per-Station

Roles are assigned per station. If the same person works across multiple Studiio stations, such as in a network with several brands, they need to be invited to each station separately. They may have different roles on each one, depending on your station’s needs.
